The blooms on these plants are usually larger taking more time to grow and less stems per plant. They
have the most outstanding attributes of the peony varieties.

One of my favorites. We measured blooms this summer up to 9 inches. The huge white blooms have a modest fleck of red. We combined Festiva with Felix Supreme in bouquets for our Washington DC television shoots and on Fox 45 in Baltimore and again on the Anchorage Daybreak program. Lots of ahhhs. Excellent vase life. Nice fragrance. Triple AAA buds and 60cm stems. Flower size up to 9 inches. Mid season bloomer.

Pristine white outer petals with creamy center. Very large blooms with curving petals so numerous, no one has been able to count. This variety deserves the right to be the star of the bridal bouquet. Or combine it with President Roosevelt for a real show stopper table top arrangement. Triple AAA buds and 50cm stems. Flower size 5-6 inches. A mid/late season bloomer.

Double, very fragrant with real personality. The white flowers can have green carpels and a yellow center glow. Terrific effect combined with wispy, vining greenery. Smaller flowers often used in hair and cake designs however the long stems offer a multitude of uses. Single A and Double AA buds and 60cm stems. Flower size 4-5 inches. Our earliest white bloomer.

This particular variety holds longer in the cooler and in the vase, by far, than any other peony we've experimented to date. It is classified as a red but it's more of a very hot pink and it holds that color until the petals drop. The intense color make the whites pop and pinks tone down the effect. Moderate sized bloom fits almost any use. Favorite of the guys boutonnieres or for an accent on cream or white cakes. Bud size Double AA. Mid season bloomer usually available week three.

My favorite red. Holds it color through entire extra-long vase life. Velvety, ruby-red double. Startling accent to other peony colors. Especially beautiful with Festiva Maxima pulling out the modest red fleck of Festiva. Double AA bud size. Flower size 6-7 inches. 50cm stem length. Mid season bloomer.

Another one of those varieties classified as a red. Try explaining all the shades of red. I'd say this one is a bit more on the blue side of the wheel versus the yellow side. Does that help? The picture is pretty accurate on our computer but who knows on your computer??? I've heard it described as watermelon red. Rose shaped, I can promise you it is a beauty. And you can tone reds a bit with combining other colors. It really is a fabulous red that when combined with other colors will really pop. Gold Medal Winner in 1957. Bud size Double AA. 50cm stem length. Mid season bloomer usually available week three.

This is always the first variety ready and the first to sell out. I'm sure the flamingo was the inspiration for this beauty. The absolutely gorgeous peachy bloom is phenomenal. An APS Gold Medal Winner, Coral sunset is the fullest of all the corals. Semi Double ruffled petals ranging through the rainbow of soft corals just like its name-sunset. Bud size is Triple AAA. Flower size 6 inches. 50 cm strong stem length. Early season bloomer.

The tight multi colored bud opens and morphs through many changes from deep mottled pink to ivory white. During the transformation you see pinks and whites emerging for a totally old fashioned, romantic impression. One of my absolute favorites. Bud size Double AA. Flower size 5 inches. 50cm stem length. Late season bloomer usually available week four.
Available Week three
Lovely Camelia shaped bloom appears first as the softest, delicate blush with loose filmy petals. As it opens, the modest sized flower starts to fade to a deep cream with a touch of luminous pink. The soft yellow stamens transform to a beige/silver color as the bloom matures fully open. Exquisite. Fragrant. Bud size is Double AA. Flower size 5-6 inches. 50cm stems. Mid/late season bloomer.
Available Week Three/Four
Everyone knows this one. This lady has been around forever and her reputation for lasting about that long too (forever) in a vase is well known. The Madame of peony, Sarah has many shades of pink. Originally a bubble gum pink, but crossed so many times over the years probably with the assistance of bees, we often see Sarahs in ranges from soft, blush pink to a warm dark pink with red flecks. Our newest fields of Sarah tend to be very blush with little or no red flecks. So you can specify the old or the new color of Sarahs when you order and we'll do our best. This is one we can add stem length if you need it for large, tall arrangements. Just let us know early so we can cut to order. Bud size Triple AAA. 60cm stem length. Late season bloomer usually available week three or four.
Available Week Three
This lovely lady is lavender pink, a large double with loose central petals curling inward. Unusual sphere-like shaped when fully open. Good choice for garden weddings and other casual, relaxed, flowing uses. Sweet rose fragrance. Bud size Double AA. Don't be fooled by the small bud size. Flower size 6 inches. 60cm stem length. Mid season bloomer.
Available Week Three
Beautiful rose pink, double bomb blossoms. The small buds are very misleading. The very large bloom has a moderate fragrance. Perfect for large arrangements or in a bud vase alone. We’ve never had time to count all the petals. A favorite of DIY brides and florists maybe because of the many different sizes of the flower from the smallish first bud size (cake and hair ornaments) to the huge bloom when fully opened resulting in a ‘multi-purpose’ flower. Bud size Single A and Double AA. 60cm stem length. Mid season bloomer usually available week three.
